Decentralized Intelligence Agency PR Engaged by Interplay Entertainment
The Decentralized Intelligence Agency Public Relations announced today it has been engaged by Interplay Entertainment. The agency will handle public and investor relations for Irvine, Calif.-based Interplay. Interplay (NASDAQ: IPLY) is one of the world’s largest PC and video game developers and publishers.
The announcement was made by principals Luke Haase and Gregg Smith.
Commenting on the announcement, Haase said, “Interplay is one of the forefathers of interactive entertainment and a company that continues to innovate. This noteworthy new client further positions our agency as an emerging leader in interactive and technology PR.”
The agency announced in February it was engaged by Hollywood-based, leading real-life game developer Legacy Interactive. Other technology clients include a wireless phone company, a multi-state telecommunications provider, and several business-to-business online operations.
Interplay Entertainment is a leading developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment software for both core gamers and the mass market. Interplay develops games for personal computers as well as next generation video game consoles, many of which have garnered industry accolades and awards. Decentralized Intelligence Agency PR Engaged by Legacy Interactive
The Decentralized Intelligence Agency Public Relations has added Hollywood-based Legacy Interactive to its client roster. Hollywood-based Legacy Interactive is the world leader in real-life PC games. The announcement was made by principals Luke Haase and Gregg Smith.
The Decentralized Intelligence Agency will handle worldwide public relations for the company. Haase and agency Account Executive Tania Egger Harris will pursue publicity among both computer game media and consumer media. In addition, the two will spend time in Legacy’s Hollywood headquarters to participate in product development and marketing.
Commenting on the announcement, Haase said, “Legacy Interactive has managed to create a series of fun and challenging games without yielding to the industry trend of violence and crime.
